Seth is a chiropractor in Jay, NY. He has been in private practice for over 30 years. Originally from Staten Island, he has worked his way up north over the years. Having always referred to himself as a 'frustrated farmer at heart' the alpaca farm has allowed him to live that dream. His interests include: computers, photography, electronics, carpentry, music, hiking and motorcycle riding.

Trudy works in Seth's office as his office manager. She is also an RN, doing occasional private duty nursing. She is an EMT and former Peace Corp volunteer (Ethiopia). She is working to train the alpacas using the Natural Horsemanship by Feel method. Her interests include: reading, travel, animals, hiking, music and motorcycle riding.

Trudy and Seth have 3 dogs who are useless at scaring away the abundant wildlife that frighten the alpacas from time to time, but they are very sweet. One is a border collie and one a beagle-bassett mix and our newest is an AussieDoodle.

We welcome visitors to Elfenwood. In addition to seeing our alpacas and dogs you might be lucky enough to catch sight of some of our wild visitors: coyotes, deer, geese, turkeys, skunks, porcupines, foxes, fishers, grouse, woodchucks and wood fairies.
